How did he propose?
I met Francis on my 23rd birthday while I was out with the girls, and he was celebrating at an engagement party. One of his friend’s mums introduced us, and ever since that night seven years ago, we have been inseparable. He took me on a getaway to Cains, where he organised a boat for us to go out to sea. While we were out there, he bent on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage.
Describe the journey of finding your dream dress and your experience in The Sposa Group store
I decided to try The Sposa Group, as two of my sisters had purchased their wedding dresses from there! As soon as I arrived, the team were very welcoming! We tried several different styles, but I couldn’t find the exact one. I had a vision, and I explained to my stylist what I liked, picking pieces from each gown. Before we knew it, I had customised my entire dress! It was exactly what I had envisioned, and it suited me perfectly!
What made you fall in love with your wedding dress?
The details on the lace, the beaded belt, and the perfect amount of sparkles in the tulle were it for me. It was the perfect combination of romantic and modern.
What advice would you give to the future brides looking for a wedding dress
Speak your mind, say what you love and don’t, and enjoy the process. There are no limitations on style when picking the right dress for you!
How did you feel wearing your dress?
I felt like the most beautiful bride, the best I had ever felt in my life. I didn’t want to take it off!
Describe your wedding day
Our wedding day was truly a fairytale! Everything I could have imagined and more. It all went smoothly from the moment I woke up, and I could not have asked for a better day. We laughed, cried, and danced the night away. We both had the best times of our lives. The ceremony was the most heart-warming moment of our lives. As we both stood there, facing each other, we knew this was it. There was so much love, we were both on cloud 9.
